Nurse Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team at Montefiore Medical Center.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and participating in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, including data collection, analysis, and implementation of evidence-based practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, research, and technologies to provide the highest level of care.

• New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.
• Basic Life Support Training
• Infection Control Training
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
