Job Description

The Project Manager - Renewable Generation will oversee the development, budgeting, and direction of short and long-term renewable projects within MidAmerican Energy Company. This role will be responsible for implementing projects at renewable generating facilities in a safe, compliant, cost-effective, and timely manner. Projects may involve multiple site locations and expenditures of tens of millions of dollars.

Responsibilities
  • Develop project plans and provide direction and coordination for project activities associated with capital investments and process improvement projects at renewable generating facilities.
  • Maintain strict safety and regulatory compliance while completing work activities within targeted schedule time frames and budgets.
  • Conduct periodic progress meetings and provide periodic progress reports for assigned projects.
  • Administer contracts associated with major projects at renewable generating facilities.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least six years of renewable generation project experience, project management, and/or engineering.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
