Job Summary:

Becker Health/MedHQ is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Specialist. This is a direct hire, permanent, staff position that requires the ability to commute to our location reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Preoperative and PACU settings
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs and symptoms
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Preop/PACU RN
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Previous experience in a Day Surgery Center is preferred
  • Ortho experience is preferred
