About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
  • Assist customers with roadside services, providing timely and professional support.
  • Perform preventative maintenance services to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and pass a drug screen.
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work in close quarters.
  • Always prioritize the safety and satisfaction of our customers, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.

Work Environment

As a Diesel Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment, exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. You will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud at times.
