Lead Computer Designer

The Red Gate Group is seeking a highly skilled Lead Computer Designer to support DARPA's Adaptive Capabilities Office (ACO). As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with military services to tackle critical national security challenges by developing architectural solutions that integrate emerging technologies with innovative warfighting constructs.
This role requires a strong background in computer design and software development, with experience in conceiving, planning, and conducting research in problem areas of considerable scope and complexity. You will work independently to make decisions on research and development engineering problems and methods, and plan and coordinate work.
The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks, and a BS or MS in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. A TS/SCI clearance is also required for this position.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop advanced computing solutions to support ACO initiatives.
- Engage in comprehensive research to address complex national security challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies into warfighting constructs.
- Validate architectural solutions through rigorous modeling, simulation, and experimentation.
- Provide technical leadership and innovation in support of DoD programs.
Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
