Job Summary

The Senior Project Engineer is a key member of our project management team, responsible for supporting field activities and collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Supporting the Project Manager in the management of cost and schedule, including the development of critical path project schedule documents and the analysis of targets and goals.
  • Managing the procurement process and making recommendations to the Project Manager.
  • Approving field purchase orders for standard purchase packages.
  • Analyzing project financial performance and participating in project financial reviews.
  • Supporting project engineering and quality, project safety and risk management, and overseeing the work of direct reports.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years' of experience, or 8 years' of construction-related experience and/or training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A basic understanding of construction software such as Primavera, Timberline.
  • The ability to understand, customize, and modify spreadsheets.
  • The ability to maneuver in and out of job site trailers and various stages of job site terrains.
