Dietitian Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Supervisor. As a key member of our Food and Nutrition Department, you will be responsible for supervising the tasks associated with the Registered Dietitian role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical nutrition assessment and care for patients
- Act as a liaison between the Food & Nutrition Department and Nursing Services, patients, and physicians
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that facilitate the integration of the department to ensure quality care and services
- Perform team member responsibilities to include interviewing, hiring, selecting, schedules, training, payroll time-keeping and performance appraisals
- Work in conjunction with Manager in relation to disciplinary actions and terminations
- Communicate to others a clear understanding of the service delivery system to maintain quality controls ensuring compliance with infection control and regulatory requirements
- 4 years of experience in a related field or 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree
- Registered Dietitian through CDR and licensure through the State of Florida, or attainment of state licensure within 6 months of employment
- Board Certified Specialist via CDR or other professional group (preferred)
This role is based at Bartow Med Ctr and requires a full-time commitment with no weekend work or on-call responsibilities.
