Position Overview: We are seeking an Ecommerce Specialist to become a vital member of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for online retail, excellent analytical capabilities, and a meticulous attention to detail. In this role, you will be instrumental in refining our digital sales platforms, improving the customer shopping journey, and contributing to revenue enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management:

  • Collaborate primarily with merchandising, imaging, and inventory planning teams to oversee all product configurations within the content management system.
  • Manage product listings and content on the website.
  • Adjust product details according to established schedules.
  • Transition products to clearance status as dictated by brand timelines.
  • Conduct daily website audits to ensure accurate classification and inventory availability.
  • Review product classifications prior to uploads and perform spot checks post-launch to ensure logical product placement for customers.
  • Assist with general departmental operations as required.
  • Become proficient in the tools necessary for this role.
  • Monitor and enhance external product feeds as necessary.

Content Strategy:

  • Schedule and manage marketing and merchandising promotions within the content management system.
  • Prioritize featured items for maximum visibility across various platforms including the homepage, emails, and social media.
  • Refresh homepage and site content regularly.
  • Analyze site search terms and optimize search outcomes.
  • Develop ranking strategies for product visibility.
  • Evaluate and enhance offerings from Search Spring and Certona.
  • Integrate Certona’s new KPP platform into the site.
  • Work closely with merchandising to translate brand stories and themes into the online experience.
  • Create categories as requested by brand partners.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Generate daily and weekly reports on key performance indicators to support informed business decisions and optimize conversion rates.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Ecommerce or Site Merchandising is essential.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively within a team and across departments, including with third-party partners.
  • Self-driven with a demonstrated ability to excel independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn, teach, and take on various roles within the ecommerce space.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Supportive of change, solutions-oriented, and consistently courteous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, embodying a 'measure twice, cut once' philosophy.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple deadline-driven tasks.
  • Experience with data management tools and techniques, including SQL queries, pivot tables, and Vlookups.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Preferred Skills:

  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
  • Google Analytics certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Ecommerce Site Search Providers.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, SEO/SEM, Social Media Marketing, and Email Marketing.
  • Familiarity with phpMyAdmin or similar platforms is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
