Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in coordinating all phases of nutrition care, including assessment, care planning, monitoring, education, and counseling of hospitalized patients and outpatients.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or a comparable major, and a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in an acute care environment. The successful candidate will also be licensed as a Dietitian/Nutritionist by the Florida Board of Dietetics and Nutrition and registered as a dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient nutritional needs and develop and implement dietary care plans
  • Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients and their families
  • Monitor and inspect meal service to ensure conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance
  • Participate in rounding and proactively respond to patient needs to improve patient outcomes
