Position Overview:
A dedicated and knowledgeable Retail / Long-Term Care Pharmacist is sought for a pivotal role in a pharmacy setting. This position is designed for individuals with a strong background in pharmacy operations and patient care.

Key Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 1 year of pharmacy experience is essential.
  • A valid pharmacist license in the state of North Carolina is required.
  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in a retail pharmacy environment, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Work Schedule:
Availability for shifts from Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, along with rotating weekend duties is necessary.

Preferred Experience:
While experience in long-term care is highly valued, it is not a strict requirement.

Core Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and validating prescriptions for accuracy.
  • Dispensing medications in accordance with established protocols.
  • Overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance with operational standards.
