Job Summary:
Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images of the body.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographic recorded images of the body.
- Perform technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care utilizing efficient and safe processes.
- Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
- Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Supervising Radiology Technologist.
Requirements:
- Ability to effectively present information to individuals and groups with varying knowledge of Radiology services.
- Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.
- California Mammography Certificate, when required for the position.
