Culinary Specialist

Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Cook to support the dietary needs of our clients in recovery. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals that meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary requirements and Crestwood's culinary standards.
• Participate in mandatory in-service classes to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
• Follow a scheduled work plan and perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
• Ensure timely delivery of meals to meet the daily needs of our clients.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience as an institutional cook or chef is desired, with other food service experience also considered.
• Understanding of therapeutic and texture-modified diets and ability to serve foods accordingly.
• Desirable: experience in supervising food service staff.
