About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment and Rehabilitation: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient, utilizing a range of techniques and modalities to promote optimal recovery and function.
  • Patient Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for maintaining optimal physical function and preventing future injuries or complications.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Management: Ensure the proper maintenance and management of equipment and supplies, including ordering and inventory management.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or certification from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Licensure and Registration: Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan.
  • Experience and Skills: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a strong background in rehabilitation and recovery.
