Support Worker

About the Role:

Spectrum Community Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. In this role, you will provide on-site support and coordination of active treatment in Adult Foster Care (AFS) or Community Living Services (CLS) homes or private residences, serving individuals with physical, cognitive, and/or behavioral disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
• Support clients in community integration, health, and wellness initiatives.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Reliable and ongoing transportation.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
