Your RoleAs a Recovery Guide, you will be integral to an organization dedicated to tackling the increasing challenges of substance use. Your contributions will empower individuals to cultivate healthier lifestyles. Engage in skill-enhancing training and professional growth, receiving continuous support from our committed staff.

Key Responsibilities- Support individuals in maintaining their recovery progress.
- Utilize your personal recovery experiences to offer mentorship and peer support.
- Assist clients in navigating available social service resources and programs.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development throughout your tenure, including specialized Peer Recovery Support training.
- Build strong relationships with clients to enhance their confidence and skills, while encouraging them to take ownership of their recovery journey.
- Gain invaluable professional experience while being embedded in a local recovery organization.
- Act as a Recovery Corps ambassador, sharing your insights with the broader community.
While you contribute to making a difference, you will receive a bi-weekly stipend along with additional benefits. As part of our program, you will enjoy both federally provided benefits and specific program advantages.
Federal Benefits Include:
- Access to an Education Award, which can be utilized for tuition or to repay qualified student loans.
- Individuals aged 55 and older may transfer their award to a family member.
- Federal student loan forbearance and interest repayment options.
- Accrual of time towards the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
Depending on your weekly commitment:
- For 40 hours: $1200 stipend paid bi-weekly, with individual health insurance premiums fully covered.
- For 25 hours: $725 stipend paid bi-weekly, with potential childcare assistance based on family size and income.
