Life Skills Support Specialist

Part-time opportunity available at Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Women of Hope-Lombard Housing and Homeless Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide residents in acquiring vital life skills such as housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care.
  • Oversee residents' engagement in daily responsibilities and activities.
  • Ensure a secure environment for both residents and the facility.
  • Administer medications and maintain precise documentation.
  • Assist with various operational tasks including snow removal and emergency procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Experience with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders is preferred.
  • Must possess certifications in Safe Food Handling, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration.
  • Physical capability to lift weights ranging from 25 to 50 pounds.
