Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and store fresh produce in a safe and organized manner
  • Distribute produce to fill shelves, racks, tables, or customer orders
  • Inspect items for damage or defects and report any issues to the Produce Manager
  • Rotate product to ensure first-in, first-out inventory management
  • Monitor backroom stock levels and report to the Produce Manager as needed
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team and sales team to discuss goods and services information
  • Attach identification information to products, items, or containers
  • Inspect shipments to ensure correct order fulfillment
  • Monitor inventories of products or materials
  • Set up merchandise displays to attract customers
  • Remove debris or damaged produce items
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Forklift experience (or willingness to get certified and operate)

Job Details:

Job Type: Regular Full-Time

Job Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 8:00am to 2:00pm (approximately 30 hours per week)

Salary: $19.83 per hour

Work Location: Oak Creek, WI and Kenosha, WI

Travel Requirements: Travel between Oak Creek, WI and Kenosha, WI

Physical and Environmental Demands:

  • The ability to move product with a pallet jack, or by cart
  • Various repetitive movements
  • Good manual dexterity to perform required duties
  • Exposure to airborne particles or fumes
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
  • Must wear safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas
