About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Banfield Pet Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures

• Work closely with our veterinarians and other veterinary care team members to ensure seamless patient care

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and test results

• Assist with laboratory tests, including blood draws, urinalyses, and other diagnostic procedures

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification or equivalent

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or related field preferred

• 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or related field

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other team members

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
