Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM)

The LSU Health Sciences Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Perinatologist to join our growing Maternal Fetal Medicine division. As a key member of our team, you will provide prenatal diagnosis, consultative, and antenatal care services, as well as ultrasound and other advanced obstetric imaging. You will also be responsible for teaching and mentoring obstetrics and gynecology residents and medical students.

• Prenatal diagnosis, consultative, and antenatal care services
• Ultrasound and other advanced obstetric imaging
• Teaching and mentoring obstetrics and gynecology residents and medical students
• Clinical and population-based research opportunities
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care for complex cases

• Medical degree (or equivalent)
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility (or equivalent) in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Board Certification in OBGYN
• Licensed to practice Medicine in Louisiana before hire date
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
• Completion of an accredited MFM fellowship program
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an academic and team-oriented environment
