Job Summary

The In-Process Sanitation position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility during production shifts. This role requires the ability to work in a hot or cold, soiled and wet environment, and to comply with company sanitary policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment that promotes work safety and product integrity.
  • Ensure cleanliness around the facility, freezer, and production area.
  • Remove and empty trash containers, and exchange vegetable waste bins as needed.
  • Rinse belts as needed using proper sanitation tools.
  • Sweep and/or mop the floors, and clean boots and other PPE equipment.
  • Remove condensation from walls, ceilings, and equipment.
  • Monitor hand and foot bath areas, and validate proper chemical levels.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
  • General understanding of the manufacturing process and equipment.
