Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to obtain high-quality images for use in the diagnosis and treatment of various pathologies and diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality patient care, considering age-specific, developmental, and cultural needs.
  • Review patient charts and radiological history to determine the proper protocol for each exam.
  • Identify patients, ensure proper positioning and immobilization, and explain procedures to provide reassurance and instructions.
  • Operate CT equipment, perform quality control checks, and administer contrast media while monitoring for adverse reactions.
  • Document patient history, reactions, and follow up with referring physicians as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Apply radiation safety knowledge and adhere to radiation safety regulations to minimize exposure.
  • Schedule CT exams for optimal efficiency and equipment utilization.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered Radiographer
  • Advanced CT certification or CT registry-eligible (certification within one year of hire)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience working in a trauma and stroke center (preferred)
  • Experience with venipuncture, cross-sectional anatomy, post-processing/3D, cardiac CTA, and CT-guided procedures (preferred)
