Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Actuary II to join our team in Webster, MA or remotely. As a key member of our actuarial area, you will develop actuarial analyses with a focus on pricing, in accordance with Casualty Actuarial Society principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop actuarial analyses with a focus on pricing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the actuarial area, with a focus on assigned states and potential impact on other departments.
  • Ensure processes are up-to-date and free of errors, acting as a subject matter expert for actuarial analyses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • 6 years of experience in actuarial analysis, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with SAS, SQL, or other programming languages.
  • General knowledge of industry practices, standards, and concepts within the field of work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with California rate filings.
  • Credit for at least 4 exams on the current CAS syllabus.
  • General knowledge of reinsurance and its implications on the area of focus.
