About the Role:
We are seeking a board-certified or eligible anesthesiologist to join our team as a medical director for anesthesia services. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a group of certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) in a busy surgical suite.
Schedule:
The selected candidate will work a Monday-Friday schedule with 8-10 hour shifts, rotating call on weekends and holidays. The start time for OR cases is at 0745, and we typically run up to six ORs daily.
Cases and Procedures:
The facility has eight ORs in the main Surgical Suite, one OR located in FBU for c-sections, and two endoscopy rooms. In addition to the surgical case load, the CRNAs will also provide anesthesia services for ECTs performed in PACU three days a week. We also perform joint manipulations, cardiac catheterizations, outpatient procedures, and radiology studies as scheduled.
Requirements:
- Board-certified or eligible in anesthesiology
- Valid state medical license
- Current DEA registration
- Ability to work effectively with CRNAs and other healthcare professionals
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
