Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Greenbriar Healthcare Center. As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of our residents through therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients/residents with communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.
  • Administer and interpret specialized speech tests, and instruct residents, families, and caregivers on safe swallowing techniques and diet recommendations.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to the rehab team.
  • Opportunity to treat at multiple locations, serving the diverse needs of residents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program.
  • Valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.
