Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee clinical and administrative functions, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
- Respond to phone inquiries and referrals in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner.
- Participate in on-call nursing schedules and provide direct skilled bedside nursing care in patients' homes.
- Manage and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of Associate's Degree in Nursing required from an accredited school of nursing.
- Three years' experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting required.
- Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience required.
- Two or more years' experience in hospice or home care required.
- Current license to practice nursing in the state of employment required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- CPR Certification.
- Current automobile insurance and valid driver's license.
- Sensitivity to the feelings of the terminally ill and their families.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and perform a variety of tasks with efficiency and composure.
- Effective communication skills with people of all socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Ability to influence people's opinions and attitudes.
- Display evidence of patient advocacy.
