POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Practical Nursing Specialist (LPN), you will be responsible for delivering quality care and guiding the nursing staff in executing the resident care plans established by the Head Nurse.
A DAY IN YOUR ROLE:
Our mission is to provide comprehensive preventative and restorative care to all residents. We strive to ensure that our residents feel secure, comfortable, and supported in all facets of their lives, encompassing physical, emotional, social, spiritual, environmental, and intellectual well-being.
In this role, you will supervise, assign, and assess the performance of nursing assistants within your unit, identifying opportunities for further education and development. You will also conduct drug counts at shift changes, assess and report any changes in resident conditions, and manage all aspects of care related to admissions, transfers, or discharges.
Additionally, adherence to established safety and infection control protocols is crucial, as is the oversight of documentation and reporting in line with organizational and regulatory standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be graduates of a state-approved nursing program and hold a valid LPN license in New Hampshire. Strong leadership qualities and a genuine passion for geriatric nursing are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with others and delegate responsibilities appropriately.
PART-TIME SCHEDULE OPTIONS:
32 hours per week
72 hours bi-weekly
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL:
2nd Shift:
$2.75/hour
3rd Shift:
$3.50/hour
Weekend Premium:
$2.00/hour
