Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary:

The Breakfast Attendant at MCR Hotels is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during the complimentary breakfast of a hotel. This role requires a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work a varied schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve breakfast items to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure that the breakfast area is stocked, organized, and clean throughout the service hours.
• Communicate with other departments regarding in-house VIPs and special requests.
• Support all areas of the beverage and food service as necessary.
• Share knowledge of the hotel, its amenities, and menu options with guests.

Requirements:

• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule that may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have basic English verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to obtain food handlers certification as required.
• Physical ability to perform job function with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Be proficient in general computer knowledge.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must have a desire to serve all guests.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a hotel or a related field.
• Previous food and beverage experience.
