Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide fast, friendly, and high-quality service to our customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and exterior areas.
  • Merchandising: Assist with receiving, placing, monitoring, and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Identify and communicate merchandising and sales floor operational opportunities to Store Management staff.
  • Food Preparation: Work with the Deli Manager to understand and execute proper deli food preparation and storage procedures.
  • Cash Handling: Operate the cash register and maintain cash accountability.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete shift paperwork and other paperwork, such as price changes, transfers, etc., as directed by Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Experience: Preferred 1 year of experience in food service, restaurant, or C-Store of QSR level.
  • Certification: Achieving level 1 ServSafe Certification.
  • Physical Demands: Occasional walking, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing, and pulling, climbing, stooping, forward bending, squatting, reaching, use of hands and feet, exposure to hot and cold temperatures, weather, and atmospheric conditions.
