Job Description

The Hydro Blasting Specialist will be responsible for performing a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility. This includes handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation, and high-pressure water blasting.

  • Operate and set-up all necessary cleaning equipment such as high-pressure pumps, in-service line hydro-blasting, and vacuum trucks, in accordance with operational and training guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including personal protective gear.
  • Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings.
  • Manually clean, install, fit, repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment on tanks.
  • Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area prior to starting any job, informing the supervisor of deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • BASIC Safety Training Skills.
  • Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
  • General labor experience is a plus.
