Job Description
The Department Of Health And Human Services seeks a dedicated healthcare professional to fill the role of Public Health Nurse (GS-07, GS-09, GS-11) in our esteemed organization. Responsibilities
- Design and implement community-based interventions to address emerging health threats and promote public health;
- Conduct community assessments to identify areas of need and develop targeted strategies for intervention;
- Provide health education and guidance to individuals, families, and community groups to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of patients;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a graduate or higher-level degree in nursing from an accredited professional nursing educational program. A bachelor's degree in nursing with relevant experience may also be considered. Applicants must also hold a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
