Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing installation of water heaters, as well as plumbing fixtures including, but not limited to, new toilets and faucets in occupied or unoccupied residential, multi-family, commercial, and other dwellings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Service of Water Heaters: Installation and service of water heaters including gas and electric tank water heaters, tankless water heaters, hybrid water heaters, direct and power vent water heaters, and recirculating pumps while upholding Federal, State, and Local codes. Must be able to troubleshoot any issues with the above.
  • Installation and Service of Plumbing Fixtures: Installation and service of faucets, garbage disposals, toilets, along with water filtration, reverse osmosis, and water softening systems. Must be able to troubleshoot any issues with the above.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Ensure the required documentation for each job is completed and uploaded into our system in a timely fashion.
  • Client Property Protection: Ensures all personal property of clients is protected from work areas.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Works in a variety of conditions and hours depending on client/jobsite needs.
  • Time and Expense Management: Enter time/mileage/materials into all relevant software.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain the proper truck stock for the scope of work required.
  • Safe Driving Practices: Maintain a safe and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Be responsible for overall customer satisfaction with regards to communication, workmanship, and quality.
  • Additional Duties: Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical/Trade school certification or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in the plumbing trade.
  • License and Certifications: This position requires a current certification or license of Tradesman, Journeyman, or Masters. Valid Driver's License and the ability to adhere to safe driving practices.
Skills and Abilities
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions. Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate a mobile device/tablet. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes. Recognizes an emergency situation and takes appropriate action. Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions. Ability to consistently demonstrate our core values by maintaining the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with team members, management, and customers.
