Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospice Nurse to join our team at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. As a Hospice Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families during a challenging time.


Responsibilities

As a Hospice Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Assessing and evaluating patient needs to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Providing skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and symptom control
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:


  • A current RN license in the state of Arkansas
  • At least one year of experience in hospice or palliative care
  • Strong assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
