Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Tortilleria Supervisor to join our team at Vallarta Supermarkets. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our tortilleria department to achieve and maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the tortilleria team to ensure smooth operation and efficient production.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for all tortilleria products, including consistency, appearance, and weight.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent stockouts.
  • Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce waste and minimize expenses.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the retail or food industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.

Salary Range:

$25-$32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
