We are seeking a skilled Wound Ostomy Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA. This is a part-time day shift opportunity that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
About the Job:
As a Wound Ostomy Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing acute and rehabilitative care for patients with select disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. You will use the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, including education, performance improvement, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
* Provide individualized patient care based on their unique needs and medical conditions
* Develop and implement comprehensive wound care plans
* Educate patients and families on wound care management and prevention
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a degree in Nursing (Bachelor's or Associate's)
* Current Washington State Registered Nurse License upon hire
* National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
* Certification in wound care or documented experience in wound care upon hire
* At least 3 years of recent experience in direct patient care or supervision in medical/surgical nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
* Experience in patient teaching and education

Estimated Salary:
$53,900 - $62,900 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
