We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Smith Crossing. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.

About the Position

This is a part-time/full-time opportunity to work as a CNA in a senior living community. You will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, maintaining resident hygiene and comfort, and responding to call lights. Additionally, you will chart all care, supplies, and other relevant information using our electronic medical records system.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Assisting residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  2. Maintaining a clean and safe environment by performing tasks related to hygiene, comfort, and overall well-being.
  3. Charting all care, supplies, and other relevant information using our electronic medical records system.
  4. Responding promptly to resident call lights and addressing their needs.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys working in senior living. You should have a strong foundation in caregiving skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. The following requirements apply:
  • IDPH Certification as a Nursing Assistant.
  • CPR certification.
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn our electronic medical records system.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates a caring and compassionate nature.
  • Must be a team player, have a positive outlook, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Maintains a neat and professional appearance.
