Are you passionate about GIS and geospatial development?
We're seeking a skilled Geospatial Developer to join our team in Downtown Lincoln, NE.

This is an on-site position requiring 100% presence Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) with some work outside of operational hours as needed. No remote work allowed.
No prior experience with this company or previous job applicants will be considered.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, geography/GIS, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis. One (1) year experience with scripting languages, APIs, and modules such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Pandas module, ArcPy module, ArcGIS API, PowerShell, and/or REST APIs is required. Additionally, one (1) year experience using Microsoft SQL Enterprise Databases (v2016+) and/or PostgreSQL databases is necessary. Two (2) plus years' experience scripting with Python is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop scripts and workflows to automate administrative processes.
  • Support team and agency projects with Python and other scripting language expertise.
  • Coordinate with peers on projects to support agency initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Additional information: This is an hourly position paying $60-$80 per hour based on qualifications and experience. The estimated salary range is between $75,000 and $120,000 annually depending on full-time or part-time status.
