We are currently in search of a dedicated Bilingual Nurse Practitioner fluent in Polish to enhance our healthcare team in a vibrant community setting.

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience.

Position Summary:

As a Bilingual Nurse Practitioner, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients, effectively overcoming language barriers to improve access to care. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, culturally sensitive medical services to our varied patient demographic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed medical evaluations, examinations, and diagnoses for patients in both Polish and English.
  • Design and execute individualized treatment strategies in partnership with patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues.
  • Offer continuous medical oversight and follow-up care across multiple specialties.
  • Facilitate clear communication with patients, families, and caregivers in Polish and English, ensuring thorough understanding of medical conditions and treatment pathways.
  • Accurately document patient interactions in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Coordinate patient care with specialists and community resources to enhance health outcomes.
  • Remain informed on the latest medical practices and advancements through ongoing education and professional development.
  • Engage in quality improvement efforts and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a Nurse Practitioner focus from an accredited institution. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York.
  • National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
  • Fluent in Polish and English, with the capability to communicate complex medical information effectively.
  • Preferred clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, or a specialty area.
  • Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and critical thinking, with a commitment to evidence-based and patient-centered care.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities and cultural sensitivity to work with diverse patient groups.
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while managing multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a multicultural healthcare environment.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Proficiency in medical interpretation and translation.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
