Paralegal Professional

Everstaff is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team in the Beachwood area. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in managing high-asset estate and trust dispute cases.

• Case Management: Assist in managing all phases of high-asset estate and trust dispute cases, including intake, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Document Preparation: Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and correspondence.
• Research: Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents related to estate and trust disputes.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case status and gathering necessary information.
• Filing and Record Keeping: Ensure timely filing of legal documents with courts and maintain organized and up-to-date case files.
• Discovery Support: Assist in the preparation and management of discovery processes, including the collection, review, and organization of documents.
• Trial Preparation: Coordinate with attorneys to prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials, including the organization of exhibits and evidence.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating with court personnel.

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field; Paralegal certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal.
• Skills: Excellent legal research and writing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software, ability to manage multiple cases and tasks simultaneously, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
