As a national partner for educational institutions, Supplemental Health Care collaborates with school districts across the nation to recruit skilled school professionals. We are currently looking for a dedicated 1:1 school nurse to provide direct medical care to a student within a school setting.
1:1 School Nurse Contract Highlights:
- Competitive pay rate of $40 - $43 per hour
- This role involves providing individualized medical support to a student throughout the school day, tailored to the student's specific medical needs and care plan.
- The contract will span the current academic year.
- The nurse will adhere to established medical care plans and provide essential information to the special education team and student caregivers.
- Daily documentation of care will be required.
- The RN will be assigned to a student based on their medical experience and expertise.
- Responsibilities may include accompanying students on bus rides, field trips, and providing care for students with specific health needs, including but not limited to behavioral health, seizures, diabetes, allergies, asthma, tracheostomy care, ventilator support, and gastrostomy tube management.
