Job Summary:

The Anesthesia Tech will function within the policies and procedures of the Anesthesia & Perioperative Services department at the University of Vermont Medical Center. This role encompasses both direct patient care and equipment maintenance, including stocking of anesthesia carts, ordering supplies, and running basic laboratory tests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with anesthesia providers, pharmacy, operating room staff, labor and delivery, TSP, and pain clinic personnel to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Assist in maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning and availability.
• Collaborate with the Department of Perioperative Services and clinical oversight from the Department of Anesthesia to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, with verification of diploma upon hire.
• Previous patient care experience preferred, with exposure to anesthetic equipment and/or procedures a plus.
