Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Process prescriptions and maintain accurate records, including patient information and medication lists.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring medications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
