About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room for surgical patients, reviewing preference cards to determine surgeon needs and obtaining necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Perform surgical scrub duties and assist with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens.
  • Assist in turning over the room, ensuring supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to their proper location.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Surgical Technician certification
  • Experience in a surgical setting, with a focus on orthopedic procedures
