Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to assist in a bustling ophthalmic practice that prioritizes quality and compassionate care for every patient requiring comprehensive eye care services.
Key Responsibilities:
This role necessitates strong customer service abilities, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a capacity for independent decision-making.
Essential Ophthalmic Skills Include:
- Collecting and recording patient medical history
- Assessing visual acuity
- Conducting automated refraction
- Administering prescribed eye drops, ointments, and irrigation solutions
- Performing administrative duties and clinical tasks, including data entry into EMR
- Delivering patient services
- Ensuring the upkeep of equipment and instruments
This position requires flexibility, as it involves traveling to various offices as needed.
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation for travel to different locations as necessary
- Willingness to adapt to various office environments
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
