About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our Supply Chain & Procurement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our suppliers deliver high-quality, zero-defect products on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supplier quality activities to ensure compliance with our quality standards and requirements
  • Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans to drive performance excellence
  • Conduct supplier audits to evaluate compliance with quality standards
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions
  • Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics and reports
  • Participate in new product introduction and supplier selection
  • Conduct supplier capability assessments and monitor supplier performance
  • Ensure supplier compliance with contract flow-down requirements
  • Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements
  • Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (experience may be considered in lieu of education)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality and/or quality engineering
  • Experience with metal castings & fabrication is required. Experience with metal manufacturing for defense customers preferred
  • Track record of success driving supplier performance improvement metrics such as First Article Approvals, Supplier Quality - DPPM & Supplier OTD
