We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team at the City Of Charleston. As a key member of our public works department, you will be responsible for collecting and disposing of refuse and recyclable materials in a safe and efficient manner.

• Pick up refuse and recyclable materials from designated collection routes and transport them to the refuse packer or garbage truck.
• Operate equipment to compress collected refuse and other materials.
• Dump refuse and recyclable materials at designated disposal sites.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desired.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
