Overview: This position is for a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse in a Level 1 Trauma facility. The role involves participation in a diverse range of surgical procedures, including but not limited to General Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Spinal Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional care during surgical interventions.
- Assist in both circulating and scrubbing roles, with a focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records utilizing EPIC software.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN.
- Experience in Level 1 trauma centers with extensive scrubbing capabilities.
- Current EPIC and BCLS certifications.
- Preferred experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns.
Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM (36 Hours/Week)
Additional Details:- Residency Declaration Form is necessary if utilizing a compact license from any state outside of Ohio.
- Verification of required certifications per unit is mandatory.
- Traveling nurses have the opportunity to renew ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications on-site with guidance from designated personnel.
- License verification must be completed within 30 days of commencement, submitted to the appropriate contact for approval.
- Compliance with dress code and completion of facility-specific documentation is required.
