Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a key member of our Surgical Vascular Lab, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures and non-imaging studies to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform specialized or general procedures according to established departmental protocols.
  • Operate all types of Ultrasound equipment, including portable exams in various areas throughout the hospital.
  • Record images and make hard copies where applicable.
  • Use IDXrad to schedule and complete exams as applicable.
  • Serve as a resource to sonographers, MDs, and students.
Requirements
  • Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Registration required by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) Registration required by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • BLS required.
