About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at Allina Health. As a member of our Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line, you will provide high-quality care to individuals experiencing complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric services to patients on our inpatient unit.
  • Collaborate with a comprehensive team to support patients' mental health and emotional well-being.
  • Work closely with other areas of care to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Cover 10-12 beds on a 56-bed unit.

Requirements:

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
  • BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required.
  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable.

Physical Demands:

Medium Work*: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently.
