Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team at Ascension Center for Mental Health in Arlington Heights, IL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral health counseling services to patients, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and establish effective therapy treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient observations and progress.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with patients, family members, physicians, and community providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Science, or Psychology required.
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology preferred.
  • Experience working with children and adolescent clients is a plus.
