Your Role:

The Pastry Cook plays a crucial role in crafting daily pastry and dessert offerings for our esteemed restaurant. With a deep passion for culinary arts and a desire to enhance your skills, you will have the opportunity to thrive and evolve as a key member of our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exhibit proficiency in baking and pastry techniques, including production methods and proper kitchen equipment usage.
• Ensure that all mise en place is impeccably prepared, seasoned, and aligned with the high standards set by our culinary leaders before service begins.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of seasonal ingredients and continuously expand your knowledge of the components used in our dishes.
• Contribute effectively during service periods, restocking as necessary and addressing last-minute or special requests with composure and efficiency.
• Engage in clear and courteous communication with all team members throughout the day and during service.
• Keep a tidy and organized workspace, demonstrating professionalism to uphold food quality and minimize waste. Adhere to recipes, portion control, proper storage, and FIFO practices.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a pastry cook role.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus but not mandatory.
